July 29th it is

Finally a due date we were wanting  : )  Actually I would have been happy with any date, but Ann was super relieved to be moving the due date up a couple of weeks.  Originally it was August 15th which would have only given her 2 weeks to get ready for school and soccer.  Nobody was sure if it was going to happen.  But today she went for her ultrasound and the doctor moved the date up a few weeks.  YAY!!!!  So now she has a full month before soccer preseason starts.  Ann is excited about this.  Her teammates are doubting she will be back, but that has only made Ann more determined to play.  Ken thinks she won't want to leave the baby, but I have a feeling everything is going to be ok.  Moms go back to work, Ann can go back to school.

So this is Baby Rive.  Dr. said everything is going great and so far Ann has no restrictions.  His/her little feet are so precious!  Ann said the baby was moving around alot when they were there.  She can't feel it yet but I am sure that is coming soon.  This pregnancy has been great so far.  She hasn't been sick once and has been able to do everything she has always done.  Tuesday at her doctors appt. Dr. Hulsen was able to find the heartbeat right away.  She said he was surprised at how fast he found it.  Now she goes back in a month.  I need to find out what this baby is so I can start buying stuff!!!!

Oh, thats why we came to Disney

The whole reason we went to Disney this year was for Carter to play in a 3X3 tournament at the Wide World of Sports complex  This sucker is huge.

Unfortunately Carter didn't win any games.  But I still think he had a good time.

Our last night in Disney we went to Downtown Disney.  Nothing but shopping and food here.  After stretching my pennies all week long I was ready to spend some money.  Luckily I don't know if Ann is having a girl or boy or I probably would have spent a whole lot more.

 A living statue.  Totally cool.

LegoLand.  I would never ever have the patience to construct these things.

Waiting for the bus to come get us and take us to the airport  : (

And were home

Epcot

Epcot ended up being one of the kids favorite parks.  I was a little surprises by this but we did have a great time.  The kids love "Test Track" but me and Ann didn't go on it. Ann couldn't ride it and I didn't want to leave her by herself we we just walked around with Deb, Scott, and Cate.  It was very relaxing.

Mom told me before I left I had to go see the Seeds of Life.  It was a ride through one of Disney's experimental gardens.  It was extremely interesting.   The food they harvest here gets used in their restaurants.

They are experimenting with techniques to grow food in crowded spaces.
The kids waiting for Turtle Talk with Crush.  This was by far my favorite show at Epcot.  Crush from Finding Nemo would interact with the kids.  Carter got to ask him a question and I think Debbie was holding her breath to hear what he was going to ask.  But he did good.  I would recommend this show to anyone.

I can never understand why they make these holes so big.  Nobody has a head this big.

I enjoyed my time at Epcot.  My favorite thing to do was the "Soarin" attraction.  It simulated a hanglider soaring over California.  We could feel the breeze in our face, smell the orange groves, and felt that at any moment we could soak our feet in the ocean.  It was such a cool experience.

All week Ann and I had the same food.  We had chicken nuggets, ceasar salad or pizza.  So when we went into the world showcase we thought for sure we were going to be able to eat something different.  No can do.  After deciding against fish and chips and realizing the price of food at the nations restaurants, we headed to the American Experience for pizza and salad.  We are pathetic.

A marathon of a week has come to a close.  We visited all the parks and saw everything we possible could.  It was a wonderful week and now we need a vacation to recover from our vacation

Hollywood Studios

We spent Friday at Hollywood Studios.  It was a very relaxing day.  We spent most of the time watching shows and walking around.  Unfortunately we ran out of time before I could see everything I wanted to, but that just means I need to go back  : )

I am a HUGE muppet fan.  Me and Ann ended up seeing Muppets in 3D 3 times.  But only because our good friend Danny was in it.  He plays one of the muppets and I just had to go see him.  On his lunch break he met up with us and hung out for about an hour.  It was wonderful seeing him again.

While the boys were on the Star Wars ride Ann took Cate to play in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground.  The disappeared for awhile and I was for sure Ann was stuck on a slide  : )

The Indiana Jones stunt show was really cool.  I love to see how stunts are done and this show tried to explain it all.

This was another stunt show but this one focused on car chases.  I will say this show will make me watch action movies in a different light.  : )

Hollywood Studios was a little easier on Ann because we did alot of sitting and the park isn't that big so we didn't walk around a whole lot.  She was still exhausted plus she was getting sick but she hung in there like a trooper.

Majic Kingdom

About to enter the happiest place on earth.

Cate and Sleeping Beauty

Cate brought her Cinderella Doll so she could show Cinderella.  The princesses each took time to talk with her.  She was so excited.

Lesson learned that day, don't drive in front of Cate.  I am lucky I didn't get whip lash  : )

Goodbye Magic Kingdom.

We had a wonderful day at Magic Kingdom.  However, Ann was exhausted when we got back to the hotel.  She went straight to bed and barely woke up the next morning.  It was alot of walking and it just wore her out.  She was bummed she couldn't ride any of the "big" rides but she had a great time anyway.

Bring on MGM.
