Jon has always been the weirdest kid!!! But he sure can make me laugh!
His love of Pokemon has yet to fade!
Grandpa Butch is still his best friend
He still loves soda!
Him and Josh are still the closest of friends
And he still always has a smile on his face!!!
And let's not forget his hair styles
Ken and I have talked over and over about the legacy that we leave our children and if something happened to us or them would we have any regrets. And even though we made quite a few mistakes these last 18 years I can go to sleep at night knowing I have given him the best life possible.
He has experienced places that most people only dream of
Like having a snowball fight with his sister in June at the top of a mountain
Or standing in the exact spot the Miracle on Ice took place
Standing in front of a wild bear
Seeing the wonders of Yellowstone first hand
And the beauty of the badlands
And we can't forget going into the swamps looking for alligators!
He is crazy, and always knows how to have a good time no matter where is he.
This next year is going to be full of changes and new adventures for him and I know if anybody is ready for them Jon is. He is strong and knows who he is and what he stands for. And for me, that is the best thing of all!
I love you son, and am so proud of you!!! Have a great, wonderful, fantastic next 18 years!
