Apparently having a baby at home is messing with my blog time.  I normally update my blog in the morning, but since Trevor is usually awake and smiling then, I find myself playing with him instead of posting on here.  So if there are no new pictures documenting his life, we will just blame him  : D

Mr. Serious needs to lighten up

Sporting his Under Armour onsie Ann's friend David gave him

Trevor does not like being on his belly for very long.  When we put him in his bassinet I always put this giraffe by him so he has something to look at.  Now he is starting to "talk" to him and it is so sweet!  (Gotta love the Alfalfa thing he has going on)

He looks so long in this picture

 Oh look, grandpa has him

We finally got Trevor to the camper but this is the only picture I took.  What is wrong with me???

 SMILE!!!!!!!!!

He can make the goofiest faces

Sound asleep.  He usually goes to bed around 10 and sleeps all night long.  When he finally does start waking up, it usually takes him about half an hour to actually get moving.  He stretches then dozes, then stretches then dozes, all time time squirming around.  Ann called him lazy and she just smiled at her in his sleep.  I think the little stinker is tricking us!

A very busy weekend

Labor Day weekend turned out to be very busy for us.  Saturday morning we had Jon's Cross Country meet (In Granite City thank goodness), then we had the Wojtowicz family reunion in DuBois, Illinois.  Ken and I then spent the night at the camper and headed to Springfield, IL Sunday afternoon for Ann's soccer game.  Monday was the Labor Day parade and Allen and Ed's birthday dinner at Bully's.  Needless to say, I am going to bed early tonight.

This is the first year Jon joined the Cross Country team.  Ken has been trying to get him to do this for the past 3 years but Jon has never shown any interest, but since he wants to stay in shape for the Navy he decided to give it a try.  He is doing great and is currently the 6th fastest kid on the team.
I had never been to a cross country meet before so the entire experience was very interesting to me.  The Granite City Invitational is one of the largest meets of the season with over 30 teams.  There were over 200 kids running in Jon's group alone.  That isn't counting JV or the girls.

Jon ran the park twice just to WARM UP!  I walk it once and consider it a great workout!

Jon is in there somewhere.  It's like looking for Waldo.

 Here they come!
Jon is right in the middle in the red top

The course is very crazy but I like it because he runs by me a couple of times.  Go Jon!!!

 Sprinting down the finish line

Jon was 88th out of 200+ kids.  His time was 18min 46sec.  Pretty darn good for someone who never really ran before.

 Poor baby is tired!

We met Aunt Marcie and Uncle Orlie at the reunion.  We were supposed to go back to their place in Lake Egypt for some weekend boating but Hurricane Isaac had other plans for us.

Nothing like a friendly game of washers

Ken was happy to catch up with his cousins.

This kid makes the weirdest faces

 And the rains came down

 And the rivers came up
I was glad we got some rain and our creek got some water in it.  It has been bone dry all summer.

 Ahhhhh, green leaves again
That morning they had cleaned the tree up that had fallen on this poor camper when BOOM another limb fell down.  I say it's time to cut the tree down.

Little peanut was not in the mood for a photo shoot

Brady showing off his new phone.  I guarantee he will never lose it!
Kacie and Brock met us at the Labor Day Parade.  Trevor slept through the entire thing, sirens and all.  I think he saw the Smallie kids and thought "oooh must play dead".

Jen won the who's going to hold him first contest

 Poor Brock
I love this pic.  Cate and Delaney discussing how the doll moves.

 My favorite girls!

 Here's a surprising picture, Brady being a big helper  : )

The kids got lots of candy from Luke and Claire

I really wanted one of these  : (

JACKPOT!!!!

The weekend ended with a great dinner with Ken's family.  Now we sleep!!!!!
